Ro Coleman


Ronell Coleman is from Chicago, Illinois and currently resides in Nashville. He is a Vanderbilt Alum & Former Detroit Tigers Minor Leaguer. His passion comes from his families baseball background and growing up in inner city Chicago. He is very dedicated to being a servant community leader and providing opportunities for the next generation to be successful. He strives to continue the great legacy of his father, Ro Coleman Sr.

Jarrod Parker

Head of Business Relations

Jarrod is a former MLB player and first round draft pick. He currently resides in Nashville with his wife Lauren, and is the owner of a multi-sport training facility, Parker Sports Performance.  Jarrod seeks to bring exposure and opportunity to student athletes in our organization and the programs we offer. 

Jarrod is also on the board of the Nashville Sports council and a proud Alumni of team USA baseball.

Working with players of all ages, Jarrod is inspiring a new generation of athletes in Nashville. His approach to mentoring and being a constant in the lives of his players is what separates him from others.

D.J Merriwether

Coach/Community Relations

D.J is a Nashville native and TSU Alum. He founded The Beyond the Diamond Program and has been working within the community through baseball for over 10 years. -“I want to help grow baseball in the right direction here in my hometown. Baseball is an art form that teaches those hardships needed within our youth to help them grow. I know that with the Stars Youth Foundation, we’re headed in the right direction being that change on the Diamond as well as Beyond the Diamond”

“Encouraging our youth through the games difficulties, transitioning those into life’s accomplishments….ALL FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME!
