Inaugural Golf Tournament

Dear Empowerment Pursuit Supporter,

We hope this letter finds you well. The Empowerment Pursuit family is so excited to be hosting our Inaugural Golf Tournament..  After many delays over this past year because of the pandemic, we are finally able to have an event where we can share with you in person more about our mission, and have you meet some of the youth that are a part of our program . We can’t say thank you enough for all the support we have received from afar over the past year. In spite of everything, the reach of Empowerment Pursuit has only grown.  

If you aren’t familiar with us, Empowerment Pursuit is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and was established in 2019 to empower youth in the Nashville community to become better people, leaders, and athletes by strategically combining education, enrichment, nutrition, and sports. Used in the right way, sports can help build bridges to success – including academic performance, character development, and community involvement. Empowerment Pursuit strategically addresses life and sports challenges through the proper mentorship, coaching, and emotional support required for youth to achieve. 

On Saturday, October 16th, we are excited to host our inaugural golf tournament designed to heighten awareness of and engagement with our organization, as well as expand our reach within the Nashville community. The tournament will be held at Ted Rhodes Golf Course with all proceeds going to Empowerment Pursuit to support programming of the organization including participant scholarships, broadening after-school enrichment opportunities and nutrition programs, as well as aiding in the overall mission of empowering Nashville’s youth through sports.
